Sound familiar?

Where does an online shop get stuck?Usually behind the scenes.

Rarely at the front end. Usually the moment an order leaves the shop.

01

Orders get retyped

What comes in online is entered by hand into the accounting system or ERP.

02

The stock is wrong

The shop sells what is already gone, because the store or warehouse counts separately.

03

Regular customers email their orders

Their prices and terms do not fit a standard shop, so it stays with email and phone.

04

The admin is a maze

Settings and plugins everywhere, and nowhere does the screen simply show how the week is going.

Package or custom

Not every shop needs to be custom. Here is how to tell which one you need.

For a simple shop, Shopify or WooCommerce is often the fastest route. If so, we will tell you.

A package is enough if

  • You sell to consumers at a single price.
  • Your range is manageable and rarely changes.
  • The shop can stand apart from the rest of your business.
  • Above all, you want to get online quickly.

Custom pays off if

  • Regular customers have their own prices and terms.
  • Orders need to land in your accounting or ERP automatically.
  • Shop, store and warehouse sell from one stock.
  • You want admin that fits your day, not a package.
  • You want to own the shop and the data yourself.

What is inside

A custom online shop: what is inside? From the basket to your accounting.

Revenue, orders and the latest orders with their status, as soon as you log in.

Questions

What clients ask us.About price, packages and integrations.

That depends mainly on what the shop needs to do and which systems it talks to: your accounting, your stock, your ERP. The number of products matters much less. We work with a fixed price per phase, so after each phase you decide whether we continue.

Often it is, and then we will say so. If you sell a manageable range to consumers, a package such as Shopify is the fastest route. Custom work pays off when the shop has to fit the way you work: prices per customer, ordering on account, or stock that also moves outside the shop.

Yes. Regular customers who log in, see their own prices and terms and reorder themselves, without emailing or calling. A shop like that is close to a customer portal, and we often build it that way too.

Yes, that is usually the reason to choose custom work. Your existing package remains the source for stock and invoices, and the shop talks to it in both directions, so nobody retypes orders.

You do, including the code and the data. You are not tied to a subscription or to a package that changes its prices tomorrow.
